    Surprising vest

    I wasn't sure about it when it first came. It's not very thick. I read all the reviews about it being warm and was skeptical. What I have found is that it actually is pretty good at shielding the wind and is definitely warmer than expected. It fits with the other 1620 gear but doesn't require them to function well. It is very well made. A little stiff at first. Getting more flexible the more I wear it. Pockets are useful and are well positioned. Zipper is stout. Like I said, it's surprising. Thanks for another well designed piece of gear!
