Solid work and everyday pant!

Finally…. Fiiiinally, a pant that has been designed by people who wear and use work pants/jeans. Don’t get me wrong, I have found a few companies in the past that have come close but, in my personal opinion, these stand out above all others.. from the reinforced pocket seams, custom length, multiple pockets, heavyweight fabric, and clean design/ look, to the made in USA, small business, lifetime guarantee.. this stuff rarely exists in this world today. As a leather worker who operates the same way, i for one am very grateful for other companies who pride themselves on creating a quality product and then standing proudly behind their work. My hats off boys. You have a lifetime customer here.

Also worth mentioning, there was a very slight and minor mixup then ended up being remedied very quickly and easily with no change to anything and simply because it didn’t go perfectly smoothly, I was offered a coupon for my inconvenience. These guys and gals really care about their product and even more, their customers.

Serious Pants for Serious Work

I recently made some extra money on a woodworking project for a friend and was looking for something to spend it on. After finding out about 1620 and learning that they make slim fit work pants I decided to give them a try. I didn't want to write a review before putting the pants through some actual work and I'm here to report back with my findings.
Quality: Everything from the stitching to the Cordura fabric feels sturdy in a way that even my Carhartt duck pants can't match. The gusseted crotch is a huge plus since that is where most pants tend to tear first. The wide belt loop in the back helps to reduce that kink that usually happens in belts from the back loop. These pants are definitely overbuilt in a good way and it gives you a lot of confidence that they will put up with a lot of punishment.
Fit: For reference I'm 5'5" and 164lbs. I usually wear Levi 511 in 32 30 and they are fairly form fitting. I ordered these in 32 29 and They fit great. A little roomier in the thighs which is better for mobility but about the same as the 511's from the knee down so you don't have that big heap of fabric at the bottom. They are pretty figure flattering for work pants and sometimes I'll just wear them even if I don't plan on doing any serious work. The fabric is stiff and when you first put them on and start moving around they feel a little weird, but after a few washes and wears they start to mold to your body.
Features: The double hammer loops are great if you are left or right handed. They also double as little handles to hike up your pants if you need to. If you have a bigger phone case the "phone" pocket on the right leg might be tight, but the rear pocket works fine. I don't seem to have the issue that other people have mentioned where it sits too low on the leg. As people have mentioned the coin pocket is pretty big and low so you occasionally snag it if you are putting your hands in your pockets but it isn't too big of an issue.
Verdict: These have become my go to pants if I need to do any kind of work. American made really does make a difference and you can tell with these pants.
