I waited until winter was over here in the HudsonValley NY to leave a review of the pants and I was not disappointed! Fit was perfect and hemmed to my liking, handled everything I threw at it, and kept me warm :) Other known brands like Carhartt used to be quality and pricey but you got what you paid for but those days are gone for many work brands which is what happens when you sacrifice quality. You get what you pay for and what you pay for with 1620 is 100% made in the USA made with quality that America was known for.
Stop being cheap and support American made and youll never have to keep buying work pants ever again! Loyal customer for life :)
Since moving to Oregon from the hi desert the cold kills me..especially my knees. Tried all my other pants..mostly forms of Carhartt and the 1620s keep my knees warm! So now I can do outside work when the weather is in the 40s. I couldn't before..even with long johns under the quilted Carhartts.
I'm 74 and have lived the last 30 yrs in rugged rural situations. The cold here sinks right to your bones..I am now saved with these wonderful pants. I do wonder about the zipper pocket on the mid right side? Is this for a cell phone? Too small..needs to be a tad wider.
I had seen a person wearing these and I could tell immediately that the cut was more functional than other work gear. Been sewing all my life so this was an easy spot. I love them! You can move freely without pulling or feeling bound up.
My son works in construction in Idaho. I have bought fleece lined pants a year ago in another brand for him, but I learned this year he is so tough on his clothes that he was out of all work pants again. I was recommended this brand so I took a chance that they would be warm enough while not restrictive and durable enough to not rip in the crotch as so many work pants do.
HE LOVES THEM! They are pricey but so far seem worth it. I will purchase again.
I hesitated on buying these pants because I didn’t know how often I would wear them. It’s turned out to be an unusually cold winter and they are great work pants. They seem very durable and keep me warm.
I’ve been using theses pants for 3 winters in Montana for both work and hunting. They keep me warm on our cold winter days but are awesome to clime scaffolding, frame homes and also my favorite pants to chase elk on a late season elk hunt. Definitely worth the money
