Great balance of wright and durability. Longer length is perfect for working overhead. I spent a weekend tying Christmas trees to car roofs and never felt a breeze on my backside.

Love the sweatshirt. Always was a carhartt guy. Like the way 1620 ones are shaped. For no specific tall sizes. They fit very well for a long arm fellow.grrat design. Pairs well with my fleece lined 1620 pants.

Great hoodie this is my second one great for people who are outdoors working gives you covers in the backside when it’s cold and it’s comfortable and it fits over a hard hat by far. The best work hoodie I have.

Longer torso is perfect!

I'm not that tall (6 foot) but my torso is a bit long for my build. Every other hoodie, sweater, sweatshirt fits so short on me. If I size up in those it gets wider but not shorter. The 1620 hoodie is amazing. No more skin exposed with bending over or reaching over my head. I've already bought two more. Sizing is a bit on the slim side. Especially in the midsection so size accordingly.

My Favorite Hoodie

The Basic Work Hoodie is my new favorite hoodie. I’ve tried A LOT of other hoodies and being 6’4” and 260lbs, the 2XL Basic Work Hoodie fits AMAZING (my dress shirt sleeve length is 37in). The extra length in the body is great because it doesn’t ride above my belly when I reach up and the sleeves still cover my wrist when my arms are stretched out. Lastly, the construction is the best blend of being super sturdy but still soft and comfortable. The outside material blocks wind and water but the inside with the warm hug fit makes it so you don’t want to take it off. For me the outside temp has to be below 60F to use though. And in comparison to the Full Tech Hoodie, I like the Basic Work Hoodie better for layering as the cordura on the Full Tech Hoodie is stiffer but it does make for an AWESOME outer layer.
