I first heard about 1620 from a friend in the restaurant industry. After checking out the site, my first impression was that nothing was cheap...but that's a good thing, let me explain why. I've worked in the trades for over two decades and have had pants from just about everyone including Duluth, Carhartt, Wrangler, Truewerk, Levi's, ETC. When you buy American made clothing, it is more expensive, but the money goes a long way. These are hands down the nicest work pants I have ever come across. From the fit, to the material, to the actual design and construction of the pants, top-notch all the way around. These pants are built to last.
I know its hard to stomach the price, but when you spend money on quality, the investment is worth it in the long run. Spend $80 on pants that last six months...or $200 ones that last for years, from a company that stands behind their work and does warranty repairs incase something happens.
Stop thinking...BUY THEM.
Best pair of pants ever! Please make in the cesar brown color!
My first pair absolutely Bad **** 1620 didn’t just make workwear, they engineered a uniform for men who build . I call them my “the bridge armor.” That being said these are a fall winter pant and will be buying a lighter version for spring summer . 25 yrs in the Trades and quality is unmatched!
To the team at 1620: Thank you for your relentless commitment to excellence.
So far so good as soon as I opened these I could tell these are going to last a long time with the materials and the length and waist are true to size I will definitely be buying more from this company and I will be a lifelong customer from here on out
I purchased a pair of the slim fit along with a few regular fit pants and must admit that when they say “Slim” they mean “SLIM”! I am 5’10” around 175lbs with a slim to medium build and wear a size 32x32. I found these to be way too tight for my liking but the regular fit in the exact same pant fits me perfectly (not baggy at all like their pictures seem to imply). Although these slim fit pants weren’t the fit I was after, they are exceptionally well made and I will gladly exchange them for the regular fit. Just make sure you really want a “SLIM” fit rather than a “Slim” fit and if you’re on the fence about it, buy both and choose your pick!
