“What’s in the trunk?” “Oh, you don't want to look in there…”

There’s a scene in the film Repo Man where a highway patrol motorcycle cop opens the trunk of a Chevy Malibu containing radioactive alien corpses. In a flash, he is instantly vaporized, leaving only his leather boots smoldering by the roadside. If he was wearing these pants, he’d still be dead but his pants would be intact: standing up by themselves, and smoldering along with his boots. They can take more punishment than your body likely can. ‘Nuff said.

Just get a pair.

When I first tried them on they were hard and stif almost like motorcycle pants. After a few wears and a couple of washes they loosen up and feel so much better. Don’t get discourage these pants are some of my favorite just wear them and they will form to your legs. Definitely worth the wait and will most likely buy them again in a different color.

Sizing up fit great

So I just purchased a pair of double knee slim fit in my regular size, they fit a bit snug around the thigh, so much so that I wouldn't dry them. My next pair I purchased was a pair of single knee slim fit, which I purchased a size up in the waste and they fit perfect around the thigh for me at 6' 2" and 200lbs. I'm normally a 34 but purchased a 36 in the single knee. I also just purchased a pair of the normal double knee pants and they fit great in my normal size waste. The double knee utility pant is actually less baggy than I was expecting based on the photos, but figured I'd give them a try and glad I did. Overall, super happy so far with these pants and will likely try to order another pair of slim fit double knee in a size larger once they are in stock again. I definitely love the idea of supporting local business as I'm a business owner myself, so spending a bit more for local and high quality is worth it for me.

The reviews are pretty spot on.

Let’s address the first thing everybody thinks about, The price. That’s the first impression will you admit it or not. Not everybody necessarily has the money to purchase multiple pair but I purchased one and quickly purchased three more the following month. I am a firm believer of purchasing anything we can a quality made here in this great country. I had seen the ads for quite some time but it was always scared off by the price but I get sick of spending money on other lesser quality pans made in other countries with poor customer service. I’ve had quick responses with any questions or concerns and prompt service. That’s what you hope to get when you purchase anything let alone in this country and with 1620 it’s exactly what I got!

Now for the pants. My first pair I bought was the foundation pants. I’m a 34 waist, 61 and about 190 pounds. They were a little large in the legs for me even though the waist felt and fit perfectly and it just seem like a lot of excess material for me personally. I returned them no questions asked without wearing them but trying them on and purchased a pair of the double knee utility and two pair of the Utility all three in slim fit. Normally I don’t wear something like that as I am 42 years old. The ankles are a little too tight for my preference, I would like it if they didn’t taper as much with preferably a little bit of a boot cut at the bottom but overall they fit great. Of course with the kind of material they are it’s gonna take a little bit to break them in as I was aware of with with plenty of other reviews online. I’ve worn two of the pair multiple times already and out of precaution I don’t ever dry them, I hang dry and each time that I have worn them they seem to fit better and better. If you are on the fence, read not just this review but all the others I know that the people that are slamming the cost of them or people that aren’t interested for the most part and quality items.
We all want to be paid in our own jobs the most that we can but when it comes to purchasing products we’re never willing to do the same. We’d rather buy three or four of a specific item throughout a year then buy it once. Thank you, 1620 not only for an excellent product but also excellent customer service! As long as this is the business plan, you got a customer for life!
