I design and install cabinetry, and I have 3 pairs. Although I don’t install much anymore, I am confident that I can wear these on the job and not worry about them ripping or tearing if they get caught on duct-work, or on errant screws and nails. The reinforced knees and more pockets than I even realized make them all the more functional.

Day-to-day I am more likely to wear them to meet with existing clients or during sales calls. The fit and style are nice enough to signal to clients a credence/clout concerning both my design and practical carpentry knowledge. Yes they are expensive. But this is easily justified in two ways. First, they are made in the USA. Second, when I buy something, I want to buy it once. The likelihood of having to replace these pants because of fabric tearing or seams breaking looks very unlikely.

Wow. My favorite 1620s yet. So burly with the double front.... feels like armor. Wears hard, washes up nicely....outrageously durable!

I ordered these pants for my husband who is a painter. He was looking for something that was slim fit, lots of pockets, flexible for climbing/bending down, and durable. So far, these pants have met all those requirements.

I read about these pants on a construction Reddit thread - the comments were too good to be true (I thought), but I bought a pair anyway. I now own five pair and just ordered a pair of the shorts (this summer heat and humidity is brutal). Three of my pairs are for work and two for leisure (they fit so well and the design looks great - when got the first pair, my wife complimented my backside, and that’s never happened before).
