I work for the forest service and do landscaping and lawn care as well. And recreational hike. And build 4wd trucks. And go off-roading. And anything that’s brutal on pants. I’m also a 6’2” and 315 pound man so when my weight rest on the fabric like taking a knee, working off my knees, or falling and sliding down hills the fabric is taking more abuse than with most people. I’ve worn Kuhl pants exclusively for years now because they make the only pants that have been able to keep up and not whither away to nothing in months. I bought these because I’m trying my best to go only USA made. I’ve worn these pants snagging burn units for control burns, flagging some of the steepest and toughest terrain in the southeast and also being wet and slippery. I’ve cut grass and done landscaping in these since April. So far these are by far my favorite pants to wear. They breathe better than my lightest Kuhl pants and comparable in weight. And I’d say as much if not more stretch than my stretches Kuhl pants. But I am starting to see the fabric show wear in ways I don’t see with my other pants. The fabric is different so maybe that’s just how it is, I’ll know better by the end of the summer but so far I LOVE these so I’m not docking a star till something actually gives up on the pants.
