I have really enjoyed these.

These pants are by far the most durable work pants I have ever owned. They have nailed the location and size of the pockets on the sides of the legs and the cut is basically perfect, (I am 6' 3" 185lbs and wear their 34 waist 35 inseam) and they fit me comfortably with enough room to stretch and move as I do in my mechanic job. They are a little warm for Alabama in the summer, but I have accepted that trade off with the extra security they provide. I wear their collared work shirt in black to match the pants and it works very well for my uniform. I really like the upper back pocket it works great for my wallet and feels very secure. I have had a harder time with the lower angled back pocket. It is so deep that when I tried to put my wallet in it slid down between my butt and my hamstring. It just felt a little weird when I sit on it. I would suggest terminating that pocket higher, but I may not be using that one for what they suggest. I have bought a second pair of these and a pair of shop pants, but the shop pants do not appear to have the upper back pocket, so I am interested to see where the pocket sits. Overall great pants, I would recommend them. I love 1620 as a company and what they stand for.

The perfect durable pants (almost)

I am very pleased with the fit of these pants and the quality of the material. That, combined with just the right amount of stretch is exactly what I was looking for in a pant that I can where doing word around the house and property and still look pretty good out and about. My only criticism of these pants is the extremely annoying location of the coin pocket. 1620, please take this advice and move the coin pocket up. Even an inch would make a huge difference. The problem is you are constantly getting hung up on the coin pocket opening when you reach into the main front pocket. I plan on buying another pair of these pants in a different color, but honestly, I’m hesitant based on that feature alone.

Only other thing I’d change is removing the zippered pocket on the right side. To me, it’s unnecessary and takes away from the subtle aesthetics that make this pant fly under the radar (which I love) compared to some other tacticool pants out there.
