We have been so focused on making the best pants that it has taken us this long to really create a technical, durable, functional top piece that you will wear every day, fall through winter. Something that will be tough as nails and won’t let you down.
Introducing: The DWR NYCO Shirt Jacket
The Details: We used a thick, 14 oz. cut of our proprietary Stretch NYCO fabric, which allowed us to not have to use a liner, which affects sizing and how the garment functions. Shirt jackets with liners are sweat bags. This is made to work with baselayers, not against them. Our proprietary Cordura NYCO blend breathes and wicks moisture. We also used a heavy-duty PFC-free, DWR coating that makes the shirt jacket repel water, oil, dirt and mud. We recommend not even washing this thing for the first month, just hose it off. For real.
Other features include high-end full YKK snaps, an internal pencil pocket in the top front left pocket and our deep front stealth pockets that were specifically engineered to easily fit multiple tools on each side. The piece is rounded out with reinforced elbows, one simple cuff snap (you will not have to be a contortionist to snap multiple tint cuffs closed), and a no-flip collar that buttons down and stays put for ATV/motorcycle riding or high-wind environments.
We don’t make cheap clothing that you buy to just throw away. Everything we make, we want you to have for life. We take great pride in what we make. These are handmade, premium pieces of gear. Designed, developed, and manufactured here in New England with 100% American fabric and materials. We include no BS details that we have always wanted to see on garments or that you have asked for. Like all 1620 clothing, the shirt jacket comes with a garment lifetime warranty and a lifetime service warranty. Yes, 1620 costs more. Because it is more.
WAIST MEASUREMENT - Use a measuring tape to measure around your waistline, just above the top of the hip bones. Make sure the tape is snug but not too tight.
INSEAM LENGTH - Grab a pair of pants that fit well and lay them flat on the floor. With a measuring tape, measure the length from the crotch to the bottom of the leg/hem.
Our hoodies, shirts and tees have a generous tradesman fit and are slightly longer in length than you may be used to, preventing any unwanted exposure.
