Way More Than What is Advertised!

Just returned back from two days of ice climbing in northern NH, putting the softshell work jacket through the paces. This jacket way out-performed the more well-known climbing brands in terms of function and comfort. The temps ranged from the mid-20's to the high 40's over the two days and the jacket was perfect. When the wind would kick-up, the large hood fit perfectly over the climbing helmet, blocking the wind and providing a quick warm-up. However, when the sun came out, the jacket was breathable that you did not overheat at all while swinging ice axes. The jacket further blocked all the water coming off the ice, keeping me completely dry the whole time. No matter what kind of swings or moves needed to be made, the jacket had the perfect reach in all directions.

Fantastic Jacket!

This jacket is simply amazing and has been worn in several countries around the world. It is water proof, keeping the wearer wet in even heavy rain. The water just beads on the jacket and runs off. The fleece lining keeps you warm in the fall and early winter temperatures. The large hood nicely covers your head in inclement weather, yet stays back and out of the way when its down. The zippered pockets keep your belongings secure and the inside-the-jacket pockets are a nice place to stow special surprises.

Great work jacket

Great jacket. It’s not Fairbanks Alaska in January rated but certainly suitable for Pennsylvania winters. It’s not bulky so it’s designed to let you move while working.
I’m 5’11” and 198lbs and the XL is perfect with a thick flannel or light hoodie under it along with base layers.
