I’ve been running 1620’s double knee pants long enough now to give a fair review. It took me a couple pairs to dial in the right fit. In Carhartt relaxed fit I’m normally a 30x30, but with 1620 I’ve found that a 31x29 fits perfectly. Once I got the sizing figured out, the quality really stood out.
These pants have been washed dozens of times and they barely show it. The fabric and construction hold up far better than ordinary work pants, and you can feel the difference day to day. They’re built to last.
My only critique is that no two pairs seem to fit exactly the same. Each one is just a little different in the waist or length. It appears to come with the territory when you’re buying handmade gear. Imperfections or not, the durability and overall build still make them worth it.
